Badass Action Platforms and Microactors from the last week.

Drum roll…..

Most in need of a tweet: “Support and spread the knowledge about ifwerantheworld!”
Point2point International! Hollerin’ at IfWeRanTheWorld on her brand new website! Thanks Antoinette McIntyre-Andersson, YOU RULE.

Worthy cause of the week: “Abolish sexual slavery, trafficking, and exploitation of women and girls across the globe.”
This one is from an IfWeRanTheWorld rising star, Mary Anne Carter. Get more information on this issue from the UN.

Best new Action Platform with Microactions: “STOP the detention of children.”
This one by Minh (Lulu) Luu details the the detention of children as immigrants in Canada. Arizona isn’t the only place with immigration issues.

Recent Badass Action Platform from Badass Super-User: “Be able to get custom, affordable clothing made in Boise, ID.”
Matthew Smith is killing it once again. And it’s not just about fashion, fueling his local economy and creating sustainable business is the ultimate goal.

Best Action Platform from Detroit: “refashion the Detroit/Grosse Pointe border, a sad symbol that needn’t be. By 2011, we can change Alter Road from notorious to glorious.”
Donn Fresard is a new member who’s rocking Motown. It’s only a matter of time and microactions before Alter Road is looking golden. Check back for before and after pictures.

Best of all-time: “Hold “A Mid-Summer Night’s Dream” Particip8 event on June 8, 2010.”
Super-user Queen Giovanna Mingarelli knocked our socks off with this one — 25 Microactions created, 24 completed. To date, this is the creme de la creme. Getting women involved in Canada’s political process is her goal, and she sets the tone with her actions. Booyah!!
