MICROACTION STUD OF THE WEEK>
If Kaben Kramer ran the world, he would provide equitable access to potable water for all people.
Kaben is a University of Pacific faculty member, in Stockton, CA, and he’s pumped about making drinking water accessible to everyone. He has 18 microactions, 14 of which are still in play. Even better, many of them are recurring, so you can jump in and microact!! Kaben is also doing microactions for ifwerantheworld super-Goddesses Mary Anne Carter and Giovanna Mingarelli. Kaben is on the brink of becoming the man your man could smell like.
‘MORE WATER, PLEASE’ ACTIONPLATFORM>
If Paull Young ran the world, he would make sure everyone had access to clean and safe drinking water.
Paull comes to us from charity:water, making him the second patron saint of clean water this week. If Paull and Kaben get together and start hammering out some microactions, this could be the nastiest duo, of clean water, since Hall & Oates released their greatest hits album.
‘DOING IT FOR THE KIDS’ ACTIONPLATFORM>
If Kalimah Priforce ran the world, he would make career Day, Every Day with careersters.
Kalimah wants to help kids (ages 12 -21) realize their career possibilities. Here’s what he has to say about it: “My dream is to create a safe space for kids to explore their gifts and manifest their potential.” Many children don’t have access to the information and resources necessary to pursue a career path that is right for them. If Gwen Dragonflied ran the world, she would run a successful photography business.
Gwen loves photography, so she’s started her actionplatform with 15 kick ass microactions that would make Hansel and Derek Zoolander proud. Picture this, Gwen was awesome enough to post a few photo’s on her platform, and you’re damn right we want more.
BAYWATCH ACTIONPLATFORM>
If Giovanna Mingarelli ran the world, she would Love my summer.
Giovanna never fails to impress, and with this 20 microaction platform she does just that. With microactions ranging from shopping, to watching the World Cup, to rocking out to Jay-Z, Giovanna leaves us with no doubt that she is loving her summer, and indeed running her world. Though her most awesome microaction, which she of course completed, was: sing loudly Michael Buble’s “I just haven’t meet you yet.” While we’re positive Giovanna sang it better, here’s Buble’s version if you’re interested.
RETURN OF THE MACK ACTIONPLATFORM>
If Tim Gregory ran the world, he would create a self-sustaining movement for community based programs, social and environmental initiatives in Waitakere through IWRTW.
Back from a couple weeks ago, Tim Gregory’s actionplatform now has 22 killer microactions and 5 microactors - Bob Harvey, Di Jennings, Matthew Campbell Downes, Community Waitakere Charitable Trust, and, duh, Tim Gregory. With a slew of other people invited to take on microactions, you can bet your sweet ass this is going to rock the casbah. AND, Jason Liebrecht, Cindy Gallop, and Oonie Chase of IfWeRanTheWorld will be in New Zealand later this month taking names and kicking ass with Project Waitakere.
MOTOWN FEVER ACTIONPLATFORM>
If Daniel Gilbert ran the world, he would Get GP and Detroit to allow an “Artists’ and Growers’ Colony” on their Mack Ave border at that ginormous “Lochmoor Chrysler” poperty.
Daniel has Detroit in the microaction crosshairs again with this actionplatform. Another great human being trying to mend a broken part of his city. Furthermore, super hero Donn Perez Fresard is boogyin’ on some of the microactions. You can check it out on twitter @alterDET too.

If Oonie Chase ran the world, she would design a magically delicious t-shirt for IfWeRanTheWorld.
There are three things I am certain of: 1) Oonie rules. 2) Sougwen rules. and 3) this shirt is going to fucking rule. In due time, our beloved microaction rock stars will be flaunting their feathers in an IfWeRanTheWorld t-shirt. Not even the Old Spice guy is hotter than this.
