so that we know that you know that we know

In start-ups - as in life - ya gotta go with the flow.  You lay great strategic plans, but the only constant is change, so you bend and flex and do the best you can.  And when you are only 1.3 designers and 1.2 developers (seriously kick-ass) strong, well… let’s just say you learn to bend pretty far.

We regularly get emails & tweets from folks filled with ideas & suggestions & assertions on how best to design/develop/promote IfWeRanTheWorld. And please believe me I say (and I speak for Jason and Cindy in this as well) that I LOVE getting these things, full of piss n’ vinegar though sometimes they may be.

That said, we are an exceedingly lean team, and all of us wear multiple hats - for example, thought I am the ‘experience lead’ i am also the ONLY experience designer on the team, and I am also a mondo chunk of business development (among other things).

All of which to say is that we have lists of lists of things we want to do - the only thing we are short on is time, and the only thing we are sure of is that priorities will shuffle.

But we are listening.  Let’s make a deal:

Here is what we’ll do for you:  Jason and/or I will periodically update this space with the new stuff that is lined up for launch - that will be once a month, as we average 1 major launch every synodic month (in keeping with our belief that one should launch on the full moon) (i’m kidding) (mostly).

Here is what you can do for us:  Even better than sending lists of things to do would be for you to send designs, code snippits, flows, sketches - whatever it takes to articulate the HOW of what you want to see, not just the WHAT.  Jason and I have set up an action platform through which we will open up microactions for stuff that needs doing for you to pick up and have at (you can do the same).  Bookmark it, send it to your designer/coder friends:  If oonie chase ran the world, she would use use my superpowers to take IfWeRanTheWorld to new levels of AWESOME.

Do we have a deal? C’mon!

fistbump,
